 Safety is the main concern in all areas of activity of ArcelorMittal Warszawa plant. We are determined to minimize accident risk and to prevent situations which may lead to accidents. We also aim at minimizing the risk of fire and preventing any other danger to life and health of everyone working on the plant's premises, both our employees and the employees of our subcontractors. Each year we undertake steps to improve working conditions in our company. We introduce new technologies, materials and machinery. We work towards changing our employees' mentality to increase their awareness of potential dangers. We have been running an advertising campaign promoting safe work. We simulate accident scenarios, organize additional trainings and have regular discussions about safety issues with our employees, trying to motivate them to apply appropriate working methods. During health and safety picnics, our employees and their families participate in games, contests and meetings with celebrities.
Providing everyday safety to the plant is a difficult task requiring continuous effort of employees of all levels of the company hierarchy.
Our attitudes and determination are reflected in the Health and Safety Policy of ArcelorMittal Warszawa.
