Artur Gierwatowski

President of the Management Board

Artur Gierwatowski took the position of Chairman of the Board of ArcelorMittal Warszawa on 20 January 2025.

He started his professional career in the automotive industry. In 2010, he joined the team of Huta ArcelorMittal Warszawa. In 2010-2014, he held various positions in the area of Steelworks Maintenance. In 2014, he took over the management of the Maintenance area of the entire ArcelorMittal Warszawa plant. Additionally, in the years 2017-2020 he was the leader of Maintenance Agora in the Bars & Rods division of ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products. Since March 2022 till February 2026 he has been the CEO of ArcelorMittal Warszawa.

He is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology. He graduated from engineering studies in the field of Production Engineering, and MA in the field of Mechanics and Machine Construction, metal technologies and plastics processing. He has an MBA from the Kozminski University.
